Experiencing Interruptions?

Seeking the Unknown

Kacie Davis (Astr'20) discusses the academic journey that took her from earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in visual art, pivoting to the study of astronomy at the University of Colorado Boulder and eventually becoming a flight controller for the Imaging X-Ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) satellite space observatory. Her time at CU Boulder allowed her to work for the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) and seek answers to the unknown by looking at space with the latest in X-Ray telescope technology.
