Karen Braysher is a British guitarist and singer-songwriter.
A recording artist performing her unique music that can reach deep down to touch your inner soul with her memorable messages on climate change and haunting melodies.
Karen is a past international band/duo leader spanning 25 years working in various musical projects throughout the UK, Sanna in North Yemen, Oman in Jorden, Abu Dhabi in the UAE, Vestmannjar in Iceland and Trondheim in Norway. Now a solo recording artist with worldwide releases.
Commendation and 5****awards on two songs, Seeds of Change and Homecoming Ball "The UK Songwriting Contest" Winners of the PARAI MUSICAL INTERNATIONAL AWARDS May 2022, Delta in India, and MDIF London. Finalist NNFF Israel.
The Seeds of Change is now recorded by St Johns School Choir in London and released to most platforms, and continues to win awards.
Karen plays a Gibson ES140t (1957), Alhambra Senorita Classical Guitar Nylon, Rickenbacker 365 (12) which once belonged to Doug Fieger of the Knack), and a steel-strung travel acoustic.
I wrote Seeds of Change in the Pandemic as I became conscious that I could hear birds singing for the first time in many years. It made me think about how Nature had been pushed aside in favour of fast cars and fast lives.
