Director Statement

That vague sense of unease that your life has jumped the track seems stronger than ever. Now it seems like it’s not just you but the entire world has gone off the rails. The apps on your phone are telling you truth itself is slipping away. Suddenly that conspiracy theory about Shaq movies & the Berenstain Bears leading to a slip in multiple dimensions sorta makes sense. How did this happen? And how do we find our way back?

Movies are dreams. And alternate dimensions. And Time Travel. They can be as real to us as anything else. We were inspired by the tone poems of Wong Kar Wei & Terence Malick and the exploration of shifting memory and perspective in Christopher Nolan. As well as the Lo-fi Future Noir of Godard's ALPHAVILLE. And even the world of Nick Cave explored in the documentary One More Time With Feeling.

If cinema is a teleportation device, can it help us map our way home? Is home even where we left it? And who are we when we get there? SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE is about no longer running from the lingering existential doubt in the corners of every day but finally confronting it...and yourself...head on.
