Secrets of Kandahar - Saucers

One day, under the veil of the mystical sky of the world of Kandahar, a strange phenomenon resembling a falling comet appeared. Its light was so dazzling that it shone even in broad daylight. The inhabitants of the only city on this distant planet, entranced by the celestial spectacle, set out on a journey to find the site of the mysterious star's impact. To their surprise, it was no ordinary comet. At the impact site, they discovered a flying saucer-shaped spaceship that had landed on their land. Visitors from a galaxy far away, travelling through space, brought messages of music, love, knowledge and technological progress. Their journey through space revealed to them that nothing is more important than these values.

The shooting star takes the form of the protagonist, Lenka Baier, who is warmly welcomed by the people of Kandahar. Undeterred by the unknown, they cast aside their fears and embrace the wisdom and gifts from the universe, hoping that they will lead them to ascend. Human-like beings, clad in space suits, with hyper-technical musical instruments and exposed, "naked" technology, stepped out of the spaceship. To greet them, they played their songs, carrying a message of knowledge and progress.

Under the influence of this new knowledge, the city and its inhabitants began to change. Agriculture, transport and society as a whole were gradually transformed in the spirit of technoptimism. New means of transport and robots made people's lives easier, while the gigantic fruits of miraculous agro-culture brought abundance. As prosperity spread, people gained more time for self-development and entertainment. The city came alive with nightlife that pulsed to the beat of synthwave beats.

But nothing is free. Visitors demanded that Lena become one of them. And so she left Kandahar to travel the universe with them. They will never be alone again.

Director Biography - Petr Chroustovský

Petr Chroustovský, DiS. - graphic designer, game developer, director, digital creator, webmaster, 3D printer and last but not least, ISP network administrator of BEST-NET is a technoptimist who has long been involved in cybernetics, transhumanism and cyberpunk with a bizarre sense of humor. He comes from Jihlava and lives in Hradec Králové, where he has done a number of artistic and audiovisual projects (painting exhibitions, screening of the author's documentary film One Year Garden, author of the adventure game Dark Disharmony, winner of the national photography competition Canon 2008, small literary and journalistic works) and is the creator and owner of the company d3arts.cz. Chroust, as he calls himself, is a prankster and "Army of one man" and his penchant for technology has naturally led him to artificial intelligence, which he also likes to dabble in. For example, you can meet his AI model Lenka Baier on social media. He studied mechatronics at the Secondary School of Industrial, Technical and Automotive Engineering in Jihlava and the Secondary and Higher School of Applied Cybernetics in Hradec Kralove in the field of Computer Art and Design.
