Seat belt
The animation follows two characters, Martin and Evelin, who are emotionally out of sync: Evelin is hoping for something more than friendship, while Martin isn’t willing to take the relationship any further. This imbalance creates a growing tension between them, gradually making their connection feel more like a burden than a bond. The goal of the animation is to explore this emotional disconnect and to trace the path that leads one of them to finally make the decision to break the cycle.
The animation was created as a video for a song titled Seat Belt by Towpe (Péter Dóczi).

Throughout the story, I use visual tools deliberately to highlight the tension between the two characters and the emotional weight of a one-sided relationship. Flashbacks, contrasting colors, and the symbolic presence of the seatbelt all contribute to guiding the viewer beyond the surface of events, toward a deeper understanding of the characters’ inner states. My goal is for these elements to gradually build the emotional arc that leads to the final decision—portrayed in a way that feels both powerful and authentic.
