Seasons March on a Tiny Planet
In "Seasons March on a Tiny Planet," inspired by Pina Bausch's iconic "The Seasons March," dancers inhabit a gently rotating, miniature world captured through a 360º camera. As the planet spins and distorts, the choreography weaves through the subtle, nonchalant transitions of time, embodying the essence of each season. The vegetation on the tiny planet transforms with the rotation, reflecting the passage of seasons. Lush white foliage transitions to soft pinks, then deepens to earthy browns, and finally bursts forth in vibrant greens. The dancers continue their nonchalant meandering using the gestures and music from Pina Bausch, enjoying while they can the passing of time in our tiny planet.
