Director Statement

Scoundrels (Sinvergüenzas in Spanish) was born from the violent context in Mexico, reflecting on how normalized is the violence in our culture and the indifference with it. Using dark humor, I explored these dark topics to emphasize the indifference and ridiculousness of a serious situation, reflecting on how people take gain from people's problems.
