I have dreamed of a career in film and television since I was 8 years old. I have written features, short films, original drama pilots, documentary features, sketch comedy, talk series, as well as essays on film and television history and poetics.
I grew up in Easton, Massachusetts. I pursued a degree in film and classical literature at Sarah Lawrence College but had to return home after my second year due to a chronic illness. My illness kept me sick and isolated for nearly 20 years until its cause was finally discovered and I was finally able to be treated. Within months of beginning treatment I had made a full recovery and got a second chance to start my life. Now I live in Albany, New York where I work as a writer and write screenplays in my off hours with my writing partner Christine DeLozier.
