Schrödinger's cat is (not) dead

Two-channel installation presenting two opposite points of view on one situation. From the point of view of the gaslighted victim and the gaslighter person itself which creates a conflict during the time of the relationship. Both sentences are the gaslighter text. It creates two alternative realities or parallel worlds using Schrödinger's cat thought experiment as an underline concept. Cat can't be dead or alive at the same time. And that's making a confusion.

Until the cat is in the closed box, you never know which one is true. You have to open the box to see. The answer in the given situation is usually that the cat is dead, and the other reality didn't exist at all. Just used as its purpose for gaslighting. The dead-end.

I use the stereoscopic method to make this contrast even more visible. The film can be seen with cyan-red 3D glasses. The contrast which makes film hard to watch is actually the state of the victim in the gaslighted relationship.

Also, the film can be seen only with red or blue filter glasses depending on which truth or point of view you want to see. The red filter is hiding away the discarded phase, leaving only the love-bombing phase clear. The blue filter makes the love-bombing phase gray and discards phase bright, but both readable.

For viewing any situation right, you need the alignment of the words and actions. The true stereoscopic vision would be the consistency without any visual discrepancy or aggression. This discrepancy is referring to the split between words and actions in gaslighter's behavior to make confusion as painful as the picture you are looking at with standard 3D glasses.

Taking the glasses off is similar to breaking the cycle. The colors became less aggressive and you can more clearly see, that there was the alternative reality that served its purpose when it was needed from the start.
