Scheherazade's eastern dream
Scheherazade was a woman storyteller in ancient Persian tales. But this time, this eastern woman is telling her own story and the story of most middle eastern women who are fighting traditional ways to bring modernity into their lives. The story is told through metaphors and symbolic images such as occur in our dreams or when we allow our subconscious to take over.
