Saving the Country Maiden
In the midst of a studio fire in 1921, Joaquin attempts to save the film reel of the first movie he's ever seen, "Dalagang Bukid (1919)". After finding the reel among the wreckage, he ends up inside the world of the almost destroyed film, and must find a way out before it completely burns away.

Jaime Morados, from Biñan, Laguna, started making films at the age of 14. Currently studying film in MINT College, his works have been selected and awarded in local and international film festivals. He won the Jury Prize at the Binisaya Film Festival for his film PROTACIO AND THE BUM (2021), Best Picture in Montañosa Film Festival and a Special Citation in Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino for his film AGA-HIW, THE DREAMER (2022). He’s known for his film “Ang Pagliligtas sa Dalagang Bukid (Saving the Country Maiden; 2022)” which was part of the QCinema International Film Festival grantees in 2022. In his films, he playfully mixes fantasy, comedy, and drama, with his love for Philippine history and culture.
