Peter HO has been an actor, producer, screenwriter, and director. He has acted in 54 television dramas and 29 movies. In 2018, he once again took multiple roles as an actor, screenwriter, producer, and director in the television series “Age of Rebellion” in which he won the 53rd Golden Bell Awards for Best Director.
"Save the Date" deals with the various issues that the male and female leads face as they prepare to enter into marriage. The film primarily explores the concept of "responsibility". Maintaining a marriage is a huge responsibility and challenge, not just to the two families involved, but also to each other and even to future generations. The filmmakers aim to convey through a speculative and emotional lens that in order to be truly happy in a marriage, it is not about having high social status or having everything perfectly align with one's expectations, but rather possessing relative patience, sincerity, and a sense of responsibility.
