Sateen Ghar

Kadambini , an ordinary housewife of a well-to-do family , was afraid of her dead co-wife Shashimukhi , who warned her often with demanding that the family was her property only. Kadambini saw various signs of Shashimukhi’s existence. Thus she never dared to intimate with her husband. She was compelled to spend all-day-long in fear and anxiety. One day she dreamt, Shashimukhi had come and tried to kill her. Kadambini was exhausted and she took a do-or-die decision. She decided to cast away all of her belongings for beginning her family anew. Suddenly she got a letter, which was written by Shashimukhi just before a fortnight of her death. After reading, Kadambini understood that Shashimukhi was an ordinary woman and completely harmless. She also learnt nothing is immortal in this world. Transformation is the law of nature.
