Dona Roy is a multidisciplinary artist of Indian origin based in Paris, France.
Born in Kolkata, India on 27th June 1998, she is trained across multiple creative disciplines including theatre arts, Indian classical dance forms like Bharat Natyam and kathak , freestyle ,filmmaking , psychology , creative writing and much more .
She started as a dancer & actor at the age of 4, writer at age 9 and went on to add modeling, singing, filmmaking, production in her extensive professional resume.
Dona won multiple awards in different categories for her short film "Bhetki" including multiple best actress, filmmaker and producer and recently won best script for her latest short film "Sarvabhuteshu" and has been part of multiple projects in varied capacities and continues to do so with her upcoming debut feature "Dugga Rani", "Color.s" a short film on asexuality, an "untitled" docu-feature and more.
Besides her rigorous screen endeavours , she is a regular on stage be it presenting a theatrical production or performing as a classical dancer across the globe.
Internationally Published model and singer, Dona runs her production company "D.A.D" that focuses on creating art across screen and stage and organically building a community for artists to share their vision in it's most authentic state.
