A day of the rice-planting. Preciousness of the labor to make one's food with oneself.
Water of the ground (rice field), water of the sky (rain), the water of the person(sweat and tears) , beauty of those water.
This short movie which drew the present conditions that those water was polluted by after 3.11, radioactivity. And it is the work which found hope to people planting rice with lovers.

Director Biography - Tokio OOHARA

Tokio in Tokyo. She gave a strong background in theatre, and in 2001 she starts her career in film and makes debut as a film director with the independent film, “Green scents in May”.

She was given an evaluation about the beauty of the film describing the sentiment of women. She has been creating a film in hopes of becoming such a world that women go to places they want to go, see what want to see and can say what likes. The film director who loves most is Jacques Rivette.
