Sang Del Drac
In the not-too-distant future, dark forces search for a way to cheat death. It's believed that Sang del Drac, the blood of the dragon, can only be found in sacred trees deep within the jungles, but some think the myth points to a different source.
We follow Maria, whose blood carries powerful traits, as she flees captivity; and Delano, the mercenary hired to recover her. Unlikely, undead allies appear to aid Maria in her escape from the evil men that would use her for their own purposes.

Vincent McLean has been living and working in Hollywood and the film industry for more than ten years. Currently he is residing in Bella Vista, AR as he edits and completes his first full feature, a documentary currently titled, Horseback Archery: from War to Sport. His focus is acting with several successful forays into writing and directing.
From a no film school background, Vincent had an idea for a teaser and pulled together the crew and resources to shoot it. Ultimately leading to the continuing of his multi award winning web series, REDEMPTION.
His next move is to further develop Sang Del Drac, with the goal being a feature film or limited series.
When he's not acting or developing film projects, Vincent travels the world taking part in horseback archery competitions.
Sang Del Drac was inspired by fantasy action films, like Blade and Underworld, as well other post-apocalyptic, non-vampire, stories.
I wanted to join these themes together and address issues of trafficking and classism, shadowing current troubles that may be more extreme in a post-apocalyptic setting.
I feel that I can use these genres to present modern problems in a compassionate and relatable way for the wider audience, just as sci-fi and fantasy have done for many years.
We filmed at Ex Hacienda de Apanquetzalco, in Morelos, Mexico. It was an amazing experience shooting in centuries old ruins, overnight, with limited equipment and crew. An earthquake hit the area, shortly before filming, and that further limited us. Parts of the Hacienda that we scouted for stunts had collapsed, or become unsafe. It was a challenge to make the space available appear as vast as an entire jungle, but I think we pulled it off.
