Sandra Cook Jerome - Sandi Jerome is a former magazine editor, writer, and PAL author of non-fiction for the technology and accounting industry. To make the transition to creative work, she completed the Advanced Screenwriter program at UCLA and has written a dozen screenplays; many of them have been finalists in various contests two decades ago. But she had to focus on her paying job, being a programmer and software designer.
After selling her software company in 2022, she can devote her energy to screenwriting and writing children's books (Middle Grade and Young Adults.) She wrote two last year along with rewriting her scripts and starting to enter them into contests.
Sandi is an enrolled and blood member of the Cherokee Nation. She hopes to get the word out about the history of her people - but in a fun and smart way. Sandi likes to create Native American characters that are memorable, engaging, and non-stereotypical.
Sandi is also a certified Disney expert and she wrote and published a non-fiction book; The Amazing Animals of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As a Florida pass holder, she visits the parks each week and was inspired to write her second novel, Pixie Dust Death available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
