Director Statement

After receiving over 1TB of videos and photo's taken during my childhood from my parents, this film was made to capture the feeling of nostalgia I got while reminiscing.
I had forgotten about most of the things that were shown to me. The video's brought back my childhood piece by piece. The abstraction in the film is a representation of what it felt like to bring back the memories that were tucked far away in my brain.
My goal with this film was to use the inspiration I took from home-videos to spark a feeling of relatability and nostalgia in the viewer.
