• WINNER of “Best Research Award” from the First Hermetic Film Festival, Venice in 2021 as Writer and Director of 50-minute research documentary titled “VEDIC GPS”
• WINNER of the CANNES CORPORATE and MEDIA AWARD as Writer and Director of the film “A Different Language’ on hearing impaired children in 2018.
• WINNER of CREATIVE EXCELLENCE AWARD at the US International Film & Video Festival, Illinois, as Director of the Culture series ‘WHEN THE GODS DANCE’ in 1999.

Chronicling the challenges and success story of a simple boy from Neyveli, a small town in South India, reaching the Olympics platform, the film inspired a whole generation of youngsters from that town, to make use of the facilities provided by the mining giant Neyveli Lignite Corporation of India and help build the community as a whole.
