Sahara is a film director & Method actress, known for her directing & stunning starring role in a self-produced short film Rekha . Born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, Sahara was raised in Brooklynole in a self-produced short film Rekha . Born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, she moved to Brooklyn, New York with relatives at the age of 12 following her mother's death.

She established Girl with a Lotus Productions in 2018 and has been writing, producing, directing and starring in her own films. Her first short film got her the San Francisco New Concept Film Festival *Excellent Short Narrative Director" for the film Rekha.

Sahara has been supporting various orphanages since 2016 through Red Lotus Girls Foundation, formerly known as Lidia Lives Foundation. In 2017 she travelled throughout India connecting with investors in the search for land to build an orphanage, this project is still ongoing. In 2018 she decided to dedicate the year of fundraising to orphanages throughout the Dominican Republic under the care of the nuns of "Hijas de la Caridad."

Sahara has a B.A. from York College & M.S. from Pratt Institute.
She studied acting at Stella Adler, Susan Batson Studios & Lee Strasberg NYC.
