Emmanuel A. Lerona is a researcher, multimedia practitioner, and a lecturer at the University of the Philippines Visayas. He wrote and directed the documentary film Pátok (The Mountain Carvers) (2019) about the Antique Rice Terraces and the Iraynon Bukidnon community. He is the cinematographer of the short films De-Lata (2022), Baboy Talunon (Wild Boar, 2021), Bukog (Fish Bones, 2020), Isla (2016), and the full-length films Daan Patungong Tawaya (Road to Paradise, 2019), Lugta Ke Tamama (Land from God, 2018), and Ang Mga Aswang (2012). He is also the sound designer for the films Bulawan nga Usa (2023), Waiting Shed (2023), Dog Eaters (2022), Solo (2021) and Sa Pagpula sang Lawod (When the Ocean Bleeds, 2021).
