///ANNOUNCEMENT: DATE CHANGE ///

STORYLINE at DaVinci Int'l Film Festival Postponed to February 2024

Due to the ongoing industry strike, the DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF) has been postponed to February 23-25, 2024.

DIFF Board of Directors made this difficult decision after careful consideration. The strike has had a significant impact on the industry as a whole, and we believe that postponing the festival is the best way to ensure that we can deliver the high-quality event DaVinci fans and supporters have come to expect, and more importantly, make room for these very important negotiations.

We [DIFF] are committed to standing in solidarity with SAG-AFTRA and the WGA during this time. We believe that their fight for fair wages and working conditions is essential to the future of the entertainment industry.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support at DIFF.

WHAT'S YOUR STORY?

Screenwriting is where it's at, or should we say where it all begins. As Alfred Hitchcock once said ... "To make a great film you need three things -- the script, the script, the script."

At STORYLINE, we believe that every great picture starts with a great screenplay, and we set out to honor those writers who are committed to the craft in delivering such work. From new worlds, rich characters, and compelling conflict, STORYLINE celebrates long and short format narratives that will forever change us.

STORYLINE is a division program of the DaVinci International Film Festival and was founded by award-winning filmmakers and WGA screenwriters. For more information, please visit storylinefestival.com or davincifilmfestival.com

    We are incredibly grateful for our feature screenplay, Affliction, to have been named a Finalist in the 2022 Storyline Competition. The very fortunate success of our project aside, I'd recommend DIFF and Storyline to anyone eager to find a supportive and professional platform for their work. The festival is extraordinarily well run, takes place in a fantastic venue, and the communication with the DIFF team was top notch. I very much look forward to continuing to work with and build with DIFF in the future.

    So happy to have my stage play THE NAME OF THE GAME selected as the 2021 Leo Award winner, beating out features. documentaries, and screenplays - the first time a stage play has ever won this award. The Final Draft 12 software alone was worth it - thanks for much for the validation!
