Paying homage to 70’s grindhouse and B-Movies with music by The Brujas, this music video follows a cannibal bassist that seeks her next victim in a sleazy bar, using her charms to seduce him and then eat him alive, a character introduced in the band’s previous single: “Caníbal”.

Director Biography - Sebastián Vázquez

Cineasta & fotógrafo análogo. Egresado de la Licenciatura en Cine y Producción Audiovisual de la Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) especializado en dirección. Proveniente de una familia de músicos, siempre ha sentido una fuerte atracción por las capacidades de la música y el sonido en el cine, brindando una visión cinematográfica a videos musicales. En 2023 empieza a utilizar el sello de Idioteca, y el año siguiente, se convierte en un proyecto mucho más grande y ambicioso de lo que pensó en primer lugar.

Filmmaker & analog photographer. Graduated from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) with a degree in Film and Audiovisual Production, specializing in directing. Coming from a family of musicians, he has always felt a strong attraction for the capabilities of music and sound in film, providing a cinematic vision to music videos. In 2023 he starts using the Idioteca label, and the following year, it becomes a much bigger and more ambitious project than he first thought.

SKARLETT es una carta de amor al cine de terror y de serie b de antaño, con una estética que busca emular el celuloide, acompañado de música que igualmente transmite al espectador hacia el siglo pasado.

SKARLETT is a love letter to horror and b-movies of yesteryear, with an aesthetic that seeks to emulate celluloid, accompanied by music that also takes the viewer back to the last century.
