    DIRECTOR: Carrie Wesolowski Carrie, born and raised in NYC, is an actor, director, host, and singer who has appeared in numerous off-Broadway, community theatre, independent film productions, television and international news programs even including being featured on Russian TV.  She trained with Phil Gushee (Neighborhood Playhouse) and Joe Anania (Joe Anania Studio). Carrie hosted Movie Talk Show for four years (2014 - 2018). This NYC talk show was a platform for indie actors, writers, and directors to showcase their work. Carrie also served as associate producer, booking the interviews and developing the content. She has lent her voice to several voice-over projects and most recently hosted a 5-week citywide sing-along on WBAI 99.5 FM called New York Sings Along.  Carrie sings on the title track of the Pieces of the World CD and most recently performed Earth Cry at The Players Club.  She performs in a NYC-based choir called Peace of Heart Choir where she is part of the Steering Committee leadership, writes the blog, and hosts the biannual Cabaret. Carrie’s most recent project was directing and acting in Love, the TV and Me produced in coordination with Julia’s Reading Room and The League of Professional Theatre Women.

    Playwright Coni Koepfinger is a New York Indie artist in residence at Manhattan Rep and Cosmic Orchid. As the creator and host of AIRPlay, Koepfinger brings the voices of artists, actors, playwrights from all over the world together in her weekly virtual theatre radio program that currently has a catalogue of over one hundred new plays. Also via new media, Koepfinger has created DETERMINED WOMEN, a monthly feature that interviews Today's Theatre Women who share their stories to encourage and inspire. In addition to teaching theatre and composition at Carnegie Mellon and various universities, Koepfinger, internationally published and produced, is a contributing writer for the Center of Creativity in LA; a board member of the ICWP; the Media Arts Advisory Board of Lifeboat Foundation (who recently published GET THE MESSAGE in their new Visions of the Future anthology 2016;) a member of The Dramatists Guild, and the League of Professional Theatre Women. Recent work includes three new powerful pieces with her writing partner Joe Izen: including The Eve of Beltane - a fresh look at political corruption in the face of ancient Celtic mythology; Schoolhouse a modern musical that journeys into an imaginary schoolhouse; and Kingdom Come where technology meets its match in matchmaking with TED, the world's first transhuman who falls in love with boss only to reveal a bigger, brighter picture for all humanity. She has written well over 40 plays, such as full-length musicals like Eve of Beltane at Theatre Row / Broadway Bound Festival (2019), Takin It Back a ten-minute play at Harlem's THE ME TOO PROJECT (2018), and Playing House a commissioned one-act about Bella Abzug for the UNTOLD STORIES OF JEWISH WOMEN (2018) and Playing Fate (2018) which was accepted for New Blood Series at Theatre for the New City. Upcoming in 2020 Koepfinger work will be shown in Manhattan Rep’s NEW WORKS SERIES; and two pieces in Cosmic Orchid Theatre’s upcoming theatrical event WESTBETH SALON and a new full length, My Dinner with Mary, which will be presented as a staged reading at The Players Club by The Producer’s Circle in 2020 and was recently accepted for the 2021 DreamUp Festival at Theater for the New City

Based in Washington, DC…most recently, he was the Acting Assistant Director at the Louis Armstrong House Museum located in Corona, NYC. Byron, for five years 2011-2016, was blessed with his own radio show: The BCS Experience: History-Arts-Culture-Politics in Review and Discussion that was heard every Wednesday from 5-6 pm (EST) on www.goproradio.com network. This internet radio talk show took a look at the rich history – African American History - of known and unknown historical facts and present day events and how they definitely shaped the future of African Americans in this country and around the world. My show was the new ‘Underground Railroad Express’. Next stop, your neighborhood. All aboard to freedom and freedom land. Byron returned to New York City in 2009 as the Executive Director for the Wyckoff Association/Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum. The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is New York City’s and the state’s oldest historic landmark that was built in 1652. It is also one of the ten oldest wooden structures in the United States and is listed on the national register of historic landmarks. It was an honor to be protecting one of our country’s historic treasures. Other recent credits include…Director of the Best Play of the 2016 One Festival – Marlene Goes to Hollywood, Mohandas K. Gandhi in the production of Peace Speaks; Dr. A.C. Jackson in the production of Black Wall Street: The Story of the 1921 Tulsa, OK Race Riots. In New York City, he was the Executive Director of the Frank Silvera Writer’s Workshop and won an Obie Award for Playwriting Development. For eight years, I was the Executive Director for the Queens Historical Society, preserving the history of 2.5 million people living in the Borough of Queens, New York City. Byron was the first General Manager for Black Spectrum Theater in Jamaica, Queens for three years. Upon his return to Atlanta (2001), he worked as the Production Coordinator for Theater of the Stars Broadway Summer Series at the Fox Theater; Development Director for 7 Stages Theater and was the Executive Director/Artistic Director for Jomandi Productions. Byron is no stranger to the Atlanta arts scene. He was the Executive Director for the DeKalb Council for the Arts, Inc. He ran Just Us Theater Company for ten years and was a member of the Georgia Film Commission for seven years. Byron has served on many arts panels including: The National Endowment for the Arts; The New York Foundation for the Arts; The Department of Cultural Affairs/NYC; The Georgia Council for the Arts; The City of Atlanta Department of Cultural Affairs; The Fulton County Arts Council; and The Southern Arts Federation. He has served with distinction on several Boards including: The Lewis Latimer Fund; Other Voices Literary Group; The Harlem Theater Company; The Lewis Armstrong House Museum; and KitchenKids! His awards also include: QPTV – CAPA AWARD/Best Documentary for Historic Movie Palaces of Queens; Borough of Queens Preservation Award; NAACP/Flushing Branch – Community Service Award; and a KOOL ACHIEVER/Arts award from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation.

    Jon Hayden (SAG-AFTRA) (SIMON) Jon Hayden, BFA ’80 Carnegie Mellon, is a native Atlantan, professional actor, member of AEA (Actor’s Equity Association), and 2nd Vice President of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actor’s Guild– American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), Atlanta Branch.  He has appeared in over 40 theatrical productions in summer stock and regional theater, as well as Off-Broadway. Jon toured last season with TOTS in Fiddler on the Roof. He appeared as Drake in Annie, starring Sally Struthers, in Theater of The Stars at Atlanta’s Fox Theater.
