SILENT DECISION

Sold into marriage by her poor mother at an early age, Rebecca's husband rapes and beats her up every other day. She runs to her mother for rescue but her mother sends her back to her marriage in fear of losing all the support from John and what society would say about her. Rebecca's best friend Christine helps her to seek a divorce in court.

Director Biography - Taddeo Ssesimba

Ssesimba Taddeo Ronnie born as Ssesimba Taddeo is a multi-Ugandan Filmmaker who majors in producing, writing and directing, he possesses other skills like cinematography and film editing among others, he is also a filmmaking mentor to a number of up-coming filmmakers and actors in Uganda.
He is the founder of Wings films Uganda LTD a registered multifaceted full-service entertainment and media production company based in Kampala, Uganda that specializes in producing audio-visual content in various dimensions for film, Tv, online, and other platforms as well as using film to rehabilitate and promote talent development.
From 2nd April 2019 through Wings films Uganda, He launched a mentorship program aimed at nurturing young talents in the skills of acting, directing, and Tv presenting among others departments as a route for them to join the Ugandan film industry as experienced and trained filmmakers. He later started up Wings films branches in some parts of Uganda in Mukono district Wankoba village and in Masaka district Mpugwe village.
In 2020, one of the movies he produced “STRUGGLE” won an award of best young actor in Pearlwood awards 2020. This opened up his minds to start submitting movies in different festivals like recently in 2021, The Mess was nominated as Best indigenous Feature Film in Uganda Film Festival head by Uganda communications commission and on top of that the film also got two other nominations in the same festival that is; Best actor and Best actress in feature film and still the Mess movie was nominated in Cinema of Nations film festival.

Also, in 2021 another Movie Mweruka The Soul Scout was nominated as Best African horror movie in African horror film festival in Nigeria

Director Statement

SILENT DECISION Was shot during the second wave of Covid 19, we had some challenges of transport means like transporting the cast, crew, and Equipment from location A to another and ensuring their safety but through all that toughest situations, we managed to do whatever it takes to get success in our Pre-production, the teamwork was good, we shot with much love of the story and since it was a true story we had to do some researches mostly on the court scenes though we had a big challenge of the court magistrate who gave us hard time on the last two days of the shootings. Above all that the Post-production was entirely nice and so what I can assure you is that SILENT DECISION is a must-watch.
