Syed Hasan is an emerging director whose debut documentary, 100 Boats, captured his personal experience during 2017’s Hurricane Harvey. The film shines a light on the selfless compassion of his community, showcasing the courageous volunteers who risked their own safety to help their neighbors escape the devastating floods. His second project, SEEAHTIK, is a short horror film inspired by Native American folklore. The film explores themes of fear, courage, and self-discovery, as a young man confronts a shape-shifting creature in a quest to prove his strength and overcome his deepest fears.
