Viyon Awhanse is a Lagos-based Nigerian film producer, director, and cultural advocate. He is the founder and CEO of multiple creative entities, including Gbagi Communications Ltd, Viyon Awhanse Film (VAF), and Viyon Awhanse Production (VAP).
Filmography & Industry Experience: A specialist in line production, cinematography, and documentary filmmaking, his portfolio includes projects like My Father's Shadow, Lady, Madam Koikoi, Balogun Kuku, Sèblá, and the historical documentary Gateway City. He also has extensive production credits on premium Multichoice Nigeria drama series such as Jemeji, Forbidden, and Halita.
Cultural Leadership: He serves as the Festival Director of the Badagry International Film Festival (BIFF) and spearheads regional tourism and community development initiatives, including the Heritage Beach Marathon.
Education & Philosophy: A holder of a B.Sc. in Economics, he is further specializing via a Directing and Producing diploma at Lagos State University (LASU). He actively mentors youth in media literacy and operates under the solution-oriented mantra, #ThinkSolutions.
