SCOOPS!

Scoops, Toronto’s iconic ice cream parlour, is struggling to stay afloat. When the enthusiastic Kira joins the shop, she takes it upon herself to rejuvenate the business, despite pushback from her lay co-worker Dez and her conspiracy obsessed manager, Rollins.

When Rollins blows an important meeting with an intimidating ice cream supplier, Steve, it’s up to Kira to convince him to give the parlour another chance.

Director Biography - Denzel Noylander

Denzel is an emerging filmmaker based in Toronto, ON. Born in Dartmouth, NS, he is a graduate of Dalhousie University and Humber College’s Film and Television Production program. As a director his credits include the short dramas "Bachelor" (2021), and "Resistance" (2022), and the workplace comedy, "SCOOPS!" (2023). His next project, the horror-comedy, "Now Playing", is slated for release in late 2023. In addition to directing, Denzel has produced the short films "Movie Theatres: Light & Sound" (2022), and "A Lot Goin’ on at 34 Maple Drive" (2023).
