Rajiga vori Raajigaa

'Rajiga vori Raajigaa' is an emotional journey of a young activist Rajendher (aka Rajiga) who is coping with severe loss of family members and fellow activists to suicides, set in a hamlet in Telangana.

There were over 1500 suicides for the cause of Telangana (2009-2014) which both state & federal government of India ignored for a long period of time, the issue was finally resolved in June 2014 by the birth of the 29th state of India 'Telangana'. (This was the same time that the Arab Spring was going on but didn't receive much press in India or abroad.)

Director Biography - JayaPrakash Telangana, Narendher Goud Naguloori

JayaPrakash Telangana is a Civil Engineer by education, an I.T Analyst by profession and a Film-maker by aspiration. He has directed short films such as Shadows, Antimettham, (dis)connected & currently his latest project 'Rajiga vori Rajiga'.

He is currently working on a script for a feature film set in turbulent 1970s Telangana (a newly formed 29th state of India) during the emergency period.
