My name is Ruzzel John A. Palomillo. I am 36 years old. I was born and live in the Philippines. I started to have an interest in film making when I attended the 2016 Intensive Film Making Workshop at Mowelfund Film Institute. After the Workshop, I also attended two other workshops. I am surprised because I think I can do it. So, the first time we made a shortfilm was in my first workshop and I was the Video Editor. I enjoy editing a lot and I think it is fun. The second one is when I attended another workshop and I was the Cinematographer and never expected that I would get the Best in Cinematography in class. The third one was in the last workshop I attended and I'm still a cinematographer. After the Film Seminars, I went back home to the province 2 hours away by plane and I started to make my own shortfilms. I gathered friends that I can see there's a potential, I taught them how to act naturally and yes we did it. We won in the Short Film National Competition. We got 3rd Place out of 46 Entries Nationwide. I won't stop making films.
