Experiencing Interruptions?

Ruzi

Ruzi is a short film that approaches an individual’s relationship with their natural environment. Against the dichotomy of humans and nature, Ruzi opens up a dialogue and rediscovers this connection. Through dance choreography and visual effects, we experience the empowering interaction between a body and its surroundings. Both the human body and the environment are defined by their textures and kinetic possibilities. The movement vocabulary and garments of celebrations are inspired by Greek traditional aesthetics. Being in dialogue with those traditional artistic languages the piece sets roots in the past while taking a leap in the future. The motion graphics and editing create shifts in visual rhythms while promoting the choreographic choices structures.
