Director Biography - Raffaele Trasatti

Raffaele Trasatti was born in the middle of Italy.
From a very young age, he discovered his love for films, being into all kinds of masterpieces but particularly loving the work of Cinema legends such as Kubrick, Hitchcock, De Sica, and Tarantino. Growing up, his interest focused on the process that set the film in motion, all the backstage elements that allow the production of the final work.
Now studying for a Film degree in England, his portfolio of work already holds a wide range of experiences; from social media to podcasts, and now stepping into cinema.

Director Statement

'Running from Chronos' is my first official short film. Its origin is to be found in a discovery I made a few years ago of the different terms the Greeks used to identify Time: 'Kairos' and 'Chronos'. The practical skills and filmmaking knowledge I gained since then, made it possible for me to realize this film today.
