Running in Place

“Running in Place” is a story of a child overcoming the hardest of beginnings in life: parents separated, separation from one’s mother by social services, parents lost to drug abuse and mental illness. Now grown up, MARIO returns with a close-friend to the deserted and dilapidated home of his childhood to explore and overcome these ghosts of his past, so that he can stop “running in place”—as his parents had done—and move on in a positive way into his adult life.
