Director Statement

Many short films take themselves too seriously. With this film we wanted to make something that was just good fun entertainment. The film draws inspiration from the old cartoons that we used to watch as kids, and by adding the live action element on the picture side and adding all sound in post, we create a unique universe for the film. It was also important to show that older actresses can play other roles than the sweet grandmother.
