Makinson is a proud alumna and veteran performer at iOWest and UCB LA. She has been a series regular on South Park, Trigger Happy TV, Joe Schmo 2, and Halfway Home. Other TV credits include recurring roles on Maron, Modern Family, Psych, and The Great Indoors. She lives in Los Angeles with her editor husband and 3-year-old son, who is already a promising director.
RUMMAGERS is about starting over. This is the pilot episode of a series about two recently divorced gentlemen who've decided to do the hard thing by furnishing their new apartment with only garage sale finds. Forcing them all at once to be patient enough to seek out the right pieces, to negotiate for what they want, and to interact with the strangest of strangers in order to put their lives back together one tchotchke at a time.
Written and created by Groundlings Alums Reece Rios and Ted Cannon, this series stars veteran improv comedy actors. "Rummagers" tone centers on grounded performances with an oddity all its own.
