As a young African American filmmaker and musician living in Los Angeles, my sole purpose is to create empowering films and music for the community that teach lessons and inspire people to be better versions of themselves. When I set out to create Royal: A Journey of Faith, Music, and Purpose, my goal was never just to make an album—it was to craft a story that inspires and empowers. This documentary reflects the journey behind my debut album Royal, from its conception to its final performances, and the personal and spiritual growth I experienced along the way.
I wrote this album to encourage others to step into their own royal identity, to recognize their worth, and to tap into the divine presence within themselves. Through faith, perseverance, and creative expression, we all have the power to rise above doubt, claim our purpose, and impact the world.
This film is an invitation: to witness the making of music driven by purpose, to feel the energy of performances fueled by belief, and to connect with the message that greatness begins when we align with God and embrace the royalty within us all.
