I am a documentary and narrative director, producer, and editor based in New York City. I won a CINE Golden Eagle award for the roller derby documentary "Rink of Fire" and have worked on many films and television shows in production and post-production. My recent documentary "Birds? What Are They Good For?" has screened at festivals around the world and I am currently wrapping up post-production on my feature documentary "Get Me a Bag!" which takes place in the middle of the 2008 World Series riots.
I have produced and directed music videos and created many pieces of collateral for major global organizations. I am experienced in traveling and attending shoots in the U.S. and overseas, as well as managing timelines, teams, and budgets. My extensive experience in film and television production, along with my expertise in post-production, has allowed me to maintain composure in the high-pressure environments that often arise when developing exceptional content. I have demonstrated strong negotiation skills when dealing with executives and creative partners alike.
As an video engineer, I worked on productions for NBC, Apple TV, Netflix, Disney+, ABC, HBO, MTV, and many other studios. Musical talent on projects that I have worked on include Jay-Z, Anderson .Paak, Shawn Mendes, John Mayer, Kyle Gass, Jon Bon Jovi, Jennifer Lopez, Coldplay, Muse, Justin Timberlake, Aaron Carter, Schoolly D, Migos, Eddie Money, and many others.
I am a low-vision filmmaker and brain surgery survivor.
As a low-vision filmmaker who has learned to manage acute ADHD and other cognitive issues I wanted to make a film that provided insight into the minds of different kinds of people. How different their thoughts are and how their expressions manifest when interacting with other people.
My father had acute OCD which was a stark contrast from my ADHD. While we had a great relationship, our differing personalities created many hilarious moments that I look back on fondly. I wanted to create something with this film that takes a look at what would happen if two strangers were thrust into a circumstance where they suddenly had to manage their diametrically opposite personality - would they possibly like it or just kill each other?
I hope the hilarious circumstances of their meeting in a very unlikely moment makes you wonder about your own interactions with others and ask yourself "what would it look like to meet my opposite?"
