Director Biography - Michael Taylor

Michael is a director, scriptwriter, and producer. He is president of NWB Imaging, a film production firm based in San Diego, California. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. He graduated from Columbia University in the City of New York with a degree in Anthropological Archaeology. He is the host, director, and producer of Theatre Corner, an interview series on PBS/KPBS.

I love developing my films through an anthropological lens, exploring all the ideas, beliefs, and cultural influences that come together to shape human behavior. What motivates a protagonist goes much deeper than most realize.
