Director Biography - Álvaro Gabarrón Lucas

Álvaro Gabarrón Lucas was born in Murcia (Spain) and is a lover of horror cinema. He is only 17 years old and in 2020 he decided to start in the world of cinema with his first short film entitled "The Illustration", which obtained two selections in two festivals: Cyborg Film (Italy) and Sombra (Murcia). Available on Festhome TV, Prime Video, Mowies and YouTube). In 2019 he founded his own independent production company called Alga Films. Now he comes with his second project entitled "Riot" (available on Festhome TV), a tragicomedy full of emotions, which has been selected to participate in the Bitesize Film Festival. Álvaro has worked in a course together with the director and actor Daniel Maldonado and the actress Minú Rao, he has also studied with Jiajie Yu Yan. Álvaro wants to study audiovisual communication and never stop "creating stories to tell in the world."
