Rhubarb
Rhubarb, Set in the British countryside. Ralph, 50, is a retired army veteran, wearing his poppy badge, he also finds a hobby in gardening, specifically growing Aubergines and Rhubarb. He sits in his car counting his seeds, desperately looking for his Rhubarb seeds but has no luck. He can only seem to find his Aubergine seeds. He pulls down his sun visor in his car and looks at a younger picture of himself during his army days. He then sets off. Ralph drives along the road, Ralph grips his steering wheel and looks at Tommy, 50, giving him abuse from his work van. Tommy then pulls over in front of Ralph, Ralph then sees Tommy marching over towards Ralphs car before Ralph starts banging Ralphs car furiously. Tommy then walks away.
Still parked up, Ralph searches his bag again and to his surprise finds his Rhubarb seeds. Tommy is sat in his van talking to a client on his mobile phone, suddenly, Ralph appears at Tommys window. Tommy winds his window down before Ralph has a break down in his monologue to Tommy. At the end of the monologue, Ralph pours his flask of tea onto Tommy’s work notes. Ralph then walks away. Tommy follows Ralph only to reveal a horrifying aspect in Ralphs boot of his car. Inside his boot is a dead body. We then fast forward to the next day by the time Ralph has finished planting his Rhubarb (burying the dead body). Ralph is then seen sitting peacefully as if nothing’s happened. He is shown sitting from a bird’s eye view as he sits in peace and content. End credits.
