Director Biography - Daniel Castilhos

Daniel Castilhos is a director of television and cinema, actor, producer and screenwriter and has directed to television "Le, Letícia, Beto & Roberto", "Fic@ Comigo" and "Gurias", displayed on the Garajão Program by Ulbra TV , Between 2010 and 2013, also directed and wrote the short film "I Can See The Mist" which was nominated for Best Actress Award - for Stéphanie Pereira - in the September 2016 edition of the “12 Months Film Festival of Romania” and nomination for Best Film at the “5th Athens International Digital Film Festival”, which happened in Greece in December 2015.

In 2016 his first web serie, “Blue Boys” was nominated for six awards at Rio WebFest and win two “Silver Ticket”, a direct nomination for the Wendie WebFest, at Germany, and Sicily WebFest, at Italy, both will happen this year.

In the following years Daniel is working as an acting teacher and director working in Porto Alegre, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, where he has done more than eighty short films with their students.

He is working in the post-production of his first full-length movie, “Cotidianos” (Ordinary Lives), that will be Premiered next Brazilian summer.
