Nate Stephens is a nature and adventure filmmaker raised outside of Chicago. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in audio production, he began to pursue a variety of creative professions. He has worked as an audio engineer, musician, luthier, barista, coffee roaster, brand strategist, researcher, woodworker, photographer, and filmmaker. He has traveled internationally to photograph rock climbing and highlining, produced outdoor recreation films, has had his photos published in various magazines and lives on the road full-time. Documenting his experiences while traveling has deeply shaped his relationship and connection with the environment.
Nate aims to use photography & filmmaking to inspire others to develop a respectful relationship with the environment that we are a part of.
This is my first film, and it was such a fun project to work on. So grateful to be invited into this story & to meet so many inspiring people!
