Director Statement

I just love movies and especially labors of love that have no aspirations besides being birthed. I truly believe that like it or not, free digital low budget indie films such as ours are the future of the artistic side of the medium.
When VHS became accessible to the masses, amazing things came into being like Troma, and god awful trash movies we all loved in the 80s.
When DVDs came along we were inundated with bum fights and girls gone wild and every children’s movie rip off you can imagine.
Now, in the age of tik tok and instagram, I sincerely believe there is a place for long form digital narrative media that hasn’t really presented itself to the mainstream consciousness, yet.
And in the spirit of all these things and with the angora clad ghost of Edward D. Wood Jr. watching over us, we did not get any rights, or permits, or permissions for anything in this piece besides the actors who were obviously aware of what was happening.
But even with all that in mind, I would ask you to take the 42 minutes to consider our film.
There will be many many more to follow both from our local movie house, and the thousands of others that will no doubt follow.
“The old Hollywood is dying, a new one struggles to be born.”
