Alice is sad. She can't quite figure out when this existential dread began or what caused it. Over the course of four sequential New Years, we see how the relationship between her and the people closest to her changes, fundamentally reshaping her.

Director Biography - Oliver Rogers

Oliver Rogers is a 25-year-old Glasgow-based writer, director and producer. Originally from South London, Oliver has made a home for himself in the communal DIY Glasgow film scene, dedicated to making comedic, obtuse and thoughtful work. He has also run the community zine Splat! for the past 3 years.

Director Statement

I am interested in telling small character-based stories with a focus on interpersonal dynamics and social specificity. I think of myself first and foremost as a writer, being inspired by the work of artists such as Ersnt Lubitsch, Billy Wilder, Jonathan Demme and Elaine May.
