February 1943, the German occupation troops in Aveyron mobilized young people within the framework of the STO (Compulsory Labor Service).

Jacques, a 19-year-old young man, works on his parents' farm in Condom d'Aubrac.

He is in love with Eva and would like to get married.

With his friend Maurice, he joins the Roland maquis in the Enguilhens forest.

They play a significant role throughout the region, hindering the Germans and facilitating the operations of the allied armies.

April 44, one evening on a weapons parachute mission, to escape German fire, they took refuge in a cave...

2024, A man in his forties is slowly recovering from a serious accident.

Regularly, he has flashes, visions of the maquis, of Jacques and Maurice and of Éva.

He is passionate about history and wars, his house looks like a museum and his tattooed skin looks like a battlefield.

Obsessed by his visions which are becoming clearer, he goes there to answer this strange call.

Will he find answers?

Just before leaving for his home in Brittany, he heard about a project that would lead to the destruction and irreparable damage of the ecosystem of the Aubrac plateau.

He stays to fight with the locals.

Director Biography - Thierry NOGUERO

Ecrivain et réalisateur indépendant basé à St Chély d’Aubrac. ​Passionné par le cinéma et l'audiovisuel depuis mon plus jeune âge, j'ai ​fait mes armes dans la réalisation de vidéo sur YouTube.

Je suis un amateur expérimenté et polyvalent. Après le succès de mon ​premier long métrage “Compostelle et après ?” adaption au cinéma de ​mon dernier roman, que j’ai projetté pendant 2 ans, j’ai décidé de ​réalisé ce deuxième long métrage. Suite à ma rencontre avec Sylvain ​Gueguen collectioneur passioné de l’histoire des guerres et notament la ​deuxième j’ai écrit cette histoire, fiction historique sur Jacques en 1944 ​et Sylvain en 2024 ....
