RESIDENT ALIENS! is a 30-minute sci-fi comedy about an Indian man who moves his family to the deserts of Roswell, New Mexico in pursuit of their American Dream, only to discover that his family isn't nearly as alien as his new motel's extraterrestrial visitors.

Writer Biography - Niccolo Aeed, Riley J. Ewing

Niccolo Aeed is a Black/Palestinian comedian, writer, and director based in New York. He is half the comedy duo Marina & Nicco. Their recent plays include Room 4 (The PIT) Unpacking: A Ghost Story Told in the Dark (HERE Arts Center) and If You Do This Right You'll Probably Break Their Chest (Ars Nova). Their pilot Smuchr won best comedy at the 2018 New York Television Festival. His work has been featured on The New Yorker, Comedy Central, Funny or Die and The Moth Podcast. He is a resident writer of The Flea Theater’s Serials. He teaches sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and teaches storytelling with The Moth. Riley J. Ewing is a Brooklyn-based actor/writer/filmmaker from Overland Park, Kansas. He has spent his whole life in the arts. As a performer, Riley has worked in theatres across the country, on tour, and off-broadway. He runs his own production company, SPACEHEAD Productions, which has produced three of Riley’s original short films. His film, “Hurry Up & Wait” has screened at film festivals across the country. Riley holds a Bachelor’s in Music from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, has completed the core curriculum training at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center and is currently enrolled in acting training courses at the William Esper Studio. Riley’s passion to tell new and innovative stories is only just beginning.
