Ethan Hunt is a second-year Film & Television Production major at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Hunt’s recent work includes directing Night Whispers (2024), Soul Casket (2022), and Spare Body (2021), all of which won numerous awards and premiered at various national and international festivals. With substantial experience in directing, video editing, and cinematography, he has become deeply passionate about the filmmaking process, collaborating with others, and striving for originality within the horror genre.
“Remnants” attempts to explore a unique concept that exploits the fear of being taken out of this world without leaving a trace. In a world of sequels and remakes, it fascinates me that some of the most profitable horror films often explore one sector of an incredibly vast horror genre. It was one of my primary goals with “Remnants” to meld together originality with a universally relatable fear that strives to offer uniqueness with an effort to resonate with the masses.
Although I am a second-year film production student at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, this project was not created for or in collaboration with my university or its resources.
