Director Biography - Helena Franzén, Håkan Jelk, Jelk / Franzén

The choreographer and dancer Helena Franzén and
cinematographer and photographer Håkan Jelk has an
ongoing collaboration since 2011. Several of their dancefilms have been presented at filmfestivals around in Europe.
In their work they investigate how to capture the dance.
into photography and film. In all their projects they are
searching for a personal way to approach the language of the moving body.
