Reid Ackerman was born in Dallas, Texas and is currently a senior at the Episcopal School of Dallas. In 2020, Reid founded his production company, Potassium Productions. He has had three short films become official selections of multiple respective film festivals. Reid's filmmaking tends to focus on the teenage experience in various time periods.
