Director Biography - Dino Stahl, Anna-Maria Kuricova

Dino Stahl is an awarded German director. He studied industrial engineering in Kaiserslautern and film and television directing in Hamburg (Germany). His short film “Der Tankwart” was nominated for the “Deutscher Nachwuchsfilmpreis” in 2019 and was screened at numerous other festivals.

Director Statement

Matei Visniec has written a great play, and we are proud that we were able to make a film from a selection of scenes.
The dramatic theme of the film is unfortunately still very topical. And I hope that the different perspectives in its portrayal will stimulate thought.
